Welcome,

I’m glad you’re here

I’m a mixed media artist and arts, health and well being practitioner, currently studying for an MA at the University of South Wales. I explore a range of themes in my work, inspired by my lived experience and a desire to not only communicate with others but to create opportunity for connection and conversation around the stories and experiences that we have in common.

Having gained my degree in Fine Art in Context, creating site specific work, has inspired the ways that I work, often creating installations which I can invite others to enter and experience, a shared space for reflection and conversation.

After 10 years developing opportunities to gather people to make arts and crafts together I’m used to facilitating creative spaces and workshops, now I’m using those skills to explore how art can improve wellbeing

Please pause a while and take a look around

Rediscovering creativity

I believe everyone is inherently creative, yet so many of us loose our confidence in our abilities over time. For me rediscovering my creativity after a long time, when I lost my ability to engage in any art, during a challenging time of Mental illness, embedded my belief that art has an important part of our health and wellbeing.

Building community through art and craft

Art can be a place we can meet and connect, no words necessary. As we create together the stories that we share can help us discover things we have in common, new ways to connect and the chance for us to build a new community, with a shared language.

Inspired by Nature

Connection with nature, for me is as important with connection to art and others, its a place where I go to breathe, to feel grounded and a place that inspires. As you look around here, you’ll see its influence on my work.
